The Green in Your Eyes I

The Green in Your Eyes I - the Centre of the Earth is the first result of a two year residence in Le Channel, Scène nationale. Together with the participants of La Fabbrika and professional gardener Felix de Puysseleyr, it took us about 50 daysto realize 5 green art installations scattered around the public space of the industrial art site. It is an investigation into Environmental Art as a possible strategy for the public urban space.

L'île utopique - a green and flowering island for bees and people with a linden tree planted in the centre of a wooden Buckyball (diam 5m) with a freely accessible platform.

Les arbres mobiles - 7 movable tree installations built from wooden beams and provided with climbing plants that will in the course of time turn the installations into green trees.

The Kyoku - a large scale drawing with rocks, earth and plants around the foot of the Belvédère, inviting the visitor to a philosophical walk.

Le murmure des Kokedamas - a drawing with 17 balls filled with earth and plants, and the manual irrigation system that goes with it.

Le pavillon des plantes - an existing pavilion that we provided on the outside with climbing plants on steel cables.
